The party included Borah's business partner Brick P. Wells; Jack Fry, the cook; Al Anderson, C. W. Allen, and G. M. Sprague, who came along as wranglers and packers; and 30 hunting dogs. Roosevelt was so fond of one of these dogs, "Skip," that he took Skip back to the White House with him at the end of the hunt.
