Provenance: Deposited by the Theodore Roosevelt Estate, 1943. Loaned to the Theodore Roosevelt (then Roosevelt Memorial) Association by Edith Kermit Carow Roosevelt, 1924 January. Given to Theodore Roosevelt by William Dinwiddie, 1902 April 22.
Inscription: The inside front cover of the album is inscribed in Dinwiddie's hand, without signature, "From a man who, during the Santiago Campaign, made a few photographs from safe positions, to a man whom he admires as a genius in war and a statesman in peace. New York City, April 22, 1902."
